{"id":10070,"date":"2012-12-06T21:41:53","date_gmt":"2012-12-07T02:41:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tew6223.c3.cmdwebsites.com\/blog\/?p=10070"},"modified":"2013-06-21T15:12:16","modified_gmt":"2013-06-21T20:12:16","slug":"jenni-brandons-wedding-at-the-palm-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sarahtewphotography.com\/blog\/jenni-brandons-wedding-at-the-palm-house\/","title":{"rendered":"Jenni &#038; Brandon&#8217;s wedding at The Palm House!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jenni &amp; Brandon are one of those couples that you just know were meant to be together.\u00a0 They had such a fun energy in their engagement session I couldn&#8217;t wait to shoot this December wedding at the amazing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.palmhouse.com\/weddings.php\" target=\"_blank\">Palm House at Brooklyn Botanic Garden<\/a>.\u00a0 Highlights for me were the emotion and excitement I was able to capture in Jenni &amp; Brandon during the ceremony processional&#8230; when Jenni said &#8220;I do&#8221; she jumped up and down really quickly and it was probably the cutest thing I&#8217;ve ever seen a bride do at a wedding&#8230; and their friend Ellie did an amazing job as officiant, he could marry people professionally, no kidding!\u00a0 It was really beautiful how happy these two were to be tying the knot.\u00a0 Since everything was basically after dark (though I did manage to take some of the flowers and details outside before the sun went down while we were waiting for Jenni to arrive) and Jenni really wanted Brandon to see her in her dress for the first time when she walked down the aisle we did our formal portraits indoors quickly following the ceremony during the cocktail hour and I love what we got inside the conservatory rooms&#8211;especially my wedding party group shot in &#8220;the desert&#8221;!\u00a0 I am always impressed with the Palm House&#8217;s excellent staff and execution, they are really on top of their game, and this wedding was no exception.\u00a0 I was also thrilled to see that Jenni &amp; Brandon had hired <a href=\"http:\/\/www.popshopdjs.com\/colleen-crumbcake\/\" target=\"_blank\">Colleen Crumbcake of PopShop!<\/a> to DJ for them&#8211; she always brings out an enthusiastic energy on the dance floor without playing the same old wedding standards.\u00a0 Speaking of the dance floor, lemme tell you, Jenni &amp; Brandon (and their awesome friends) sure know how to get down!\u00a0 I couldn&#8217;t get enough of shooting this crowd, there was so much fun happening everywhere I looked.\u00a0 Congratulations, Jenni &amp; Brandon!\u00a0 What a wedding!!!<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"pp-lightbox-placeholder pp-gallery-placeholder lightbox-1354824162 mceItem\" id=\"pp-lightbox-1354824162\" style=\"display: none;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/tew6223.c3.cmdwebsites.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p4\/placeholders\/lightbox-placeholder-1354824162.jpg\" \/><br \/>\n<iframe src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/55065940?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0&amp;badge=0&amp;color=ffffff\" height=\"506\" width=\"900\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>Vendor Credits:<\/p>\n<p>Venue: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.palmhouse.com\/weddings.php\" target=\"_blank\">The Palm House at Brooklyn Botanic Garden<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Caterering &amp; Wedding Cake: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.palmhouse.com\/catering.php\" target=\"_blank\">Charles Sally Charles<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Flowers:<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rebeccashepherdfloraldesign.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Rebecca Shepherd Floral Design<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Music:\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.popshopdjs.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Colleen Crumbcake of PopShop!
