{"id":11356,"date":"2013-06-09T21:35:59","date_gmt":"2013-06-10T02:35:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sarahtewphotography.com\/blog\/?p=11356"},"modified":"2013-06-14T17:31:57","modified_gmt":"2013-06-14T22:31:57","slug":"alex-will-palm-house-wedding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sarahtewphotography.com\/blog\/alex-will-palm-house-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Alex &#038; Will&#8217;s wedding at The Palm House, Brooklyn NY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When I met with Alex and her mom just over a year ago I could tell from her vision of the wedding that this was going to be a fantastic event.\u00a0 Of course any wedding at the Palm House is bound to be beautiful, but she had a vision and I could tell she was going to execute it expertly!\u00a0 Though she lives in California currently I was able to schedule an engagement session with them in their old neighborhood in Brooklyn during one of their wedding planning visits, and we had a blast&#8211; I couldn&#8217;t wait for the wedding.\u00a0 When I got their pre-wedding questionnaire back I was thrilled to see that Rebecca Shepherd was doing the floral design&#8211; she&#8217;s incredible and I have been eager to capture more of her beautiful work.\u00a0 This was a match made in heaven, and I&#8217;ve never seen anything quite like the tablescapes she put together.\u00a0 I got to shoot their rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding and as soon as I saw Alex&#8217;s amazing blue-sparkly heels I knew the next day would be as fun as I had anticipated.\u00a0 This girl&#8217;s got style &#8220;for miles and miles&#8221; as Stephen Malkmus would say!\u00a0 Instead of trying to describe all the fun I&#8217;ll let the pics speak for themselves, but here are some highlights:\u00a0 Lace layered gown!\u00a0 Groomsmen with hats!\u00a0 Outdoor ceremony at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden!,\u00a0 Signature cocktails (something with Bulleit you say?
