{"id":15329,"date":"2014-05-24T10:25:59","date_gmt":"2014-05-24T15:25:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sarahtewphotography.com\/blog\/?p=15329"},"modified":"2014-05-25T09:02:05","modified_gmt":"2014-05-25T14:02:05","slug":"hudson-river-valley-wedding-rhinecliff-hotel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sarahtewphotography.com\/blog\/hudson-river-valley-wedding-rhinecliff-hotel\/","title":{"rendered":"Melissa &#038; Ben&#8217;s Wedding in Rhinecliff, NY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Melissa &amp; Ben are a sweet Brooklyn couple who met during their time at Vassar College.\u00a0 For their wedding they chose the Rhinecliff Hotel up in the Hudson River Valley and guests enjoyed a weekend celebration in the quaint town a few hours from the city.\u00a0 With a view out to the river and a charming old train station right in front of the hotel, I had plenty to work with for their pictures.\u00a0 I started with Melissa and her bridesmaids getting ready upstairs in one of the rooms while my assistant shot Ben and the fellas downstairs.\u00a0 We had picked out a spot for their first look where they&#8217;d see eachother for the first time, and then jumped into the pictures with them and their wedding party.\u00a0 I loved getting to utilize this beautiful train station&#8211; the stairs, the railroad tracks, it was all great for pictures!\u00a0 After a batch of family group pictures up on the green guests settled in for the ceremony.\u00a0 Melissa is a lawyer and fittingly they had Melissa&#8217;s aunt, who is a Judge, be the officiant&#8211; she did a marvelous job and the ceremony was moving and sweet, complete with vows the couple wrote themselves.\u00a0 Highlights of this wedding included some live musical performance by the best man, a lively Vassar alumni picture, and of course as always I loved hearing the toasts, which, whether funny or serious and moving are always just a real treat to hear.\u00a0 I was so honored to be the photographer for this great couple&#8211; Congratulations to Melissa &amp; Ben! <img class=\"pp-lightbox-placeholder pp-gallery-placeholder lightbox-1400881966 mceItem\" id=\"pp-lightbox-1400881966\" style=\"display: none;\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sarahtewphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p4\/placeholders\/lightbox-placeholder-1400881966.jpg\" \/> <iframe src=\"\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/96257187?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0&amp;color=ffffff\" height=\"506\" width=\"900\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe> <strong>Vendor Credits:<\/strong> Venue &amp; Catering:<a href=\"http:\/\/www.therhinecliff.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Rhinecliff Hotel<\/a> Hair &amp; Makeup:\u00a0<a href=\" http:\/\/www.thedreambride.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dream Bride \u2013 Tania Amrod<\/a> Officiant: <a href=\"http:\/\/pview.findlaw.com\/view\/1752099_1\" target=\"_blank\">Hon.
