{"id":15531,"date":"2014-05-30T16:13:00","date_gmt":"2014-05-30T21:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sarahtewphotography.com\/blog\/?p=15531"},"modified":"2014-05-30T20:26:30","modified_gmt":"2014-05-31T01:26:30","slug":"engagement-session-boston","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sarahtewphotography.com\/blog\/engagement-session-boston\/","title":{"rendered":"Hilary &#038; Andrew&#8217;s Boston Engagement Portraits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hilary &amp; Andrew are getting married this fall at <a href=\"www.parkermeridien.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Le Parker Meridian Hotel<\/a>, just south of Central Park. Since they live in Boston they wanted to bring me up there for their engagement portraits, and boy did we get a great day for it! They picked me up from the train station and we went to a few choice spots&#8211; <a href=\"www.beaconhillonline.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Beacon Hill<\/a>, a nice historic district with cobblestone streets and beautiful old architecture, and <a href=\"www.cityofboston.gov\/parks\/emerald\/public_garden.asp\" target=\"_blank\">Boston Public Garden<\/a>, which was lovely and full of folks out to enjoy Memorial Day Weekend in the sunshine. To get a little variety (and because I didn&#8217;t want to miss out on the coastal element) we wrapped the session up near the <a href=\"www.icaboston.org\" target=\"_blank\">Institute for Contemporary Art<\/a> down by the water, where I could pose them near a boat or two! I was so glad I got to do this shoot on their home turf, I know the photos will be all the more meaningful to them because of it.
