{"id":19063,"date":"2015-04-24T22:09:49","date_gmt":"2015-04-25T03:09:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sarahtewphotography.com\/blog\/?p=19063"},"modified":"2015-04-25T11:45:50","modified_gmt":"2015-04-25T16:45:50","slug":"jessica-ross-fresh-meadow-country-club","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sarahtewphotography.com\/blog\/jessica-ross-fresh-meadow-country-club\/","title":{"rendered":"Jessica &amp; Ross&#8217; Wedding at Meadow Country Club"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Jessica &amp; Ross\u00a0contacted me all the way from Texas when they were planning their wedding on Long Island for this April.\u00a0 They planned their wedding carefully and beautifully with the help of Jessica\u2019s mother, who was living\u00a0closer to the venue, Fresh Meadow Country Club. \u00a0They did a fabulous job\u00a0planning\u00a0and the event was marvelous, featuring a plethora of white orchids, a fabulous Oscar de la Renta gown, and of course, Jessica &amp; Ross\u00a0themselves were beaming with love and happiness throughout the day!\u00a0 I started upstairs with Jessica getting ready up in the bridal suite and brought her outside for a first look with her handsome groom.\u00a0 The wind was a bit too much for us to continue shooting portraits outside but we gave it a shot (I mean it was seriously windy, you guys!) before heading back indoors. \u00a0The Chuppah area where they\u2019d have their ceremony was beautifully decked out with white orchids and roses and a lovely crystal chandelier, so naturally I shot the couple and their group portraits with this as a backdrop. \u00a0Cut to a little while later and Ross is breaking the glass under this gorgeous Chuppah! \u00a0Their cocktail hour featured an amazing array of delicious foods from around the world\u2014 meanwhile the staff expertly transformed the ceremony room into a reception complete with dance floor. \u00a0The band kicked off this beautiful evening with gusto as Jessica &amp; Ross enjoyed a first dance and a lively Hora\u2014even their folks got in on the chair-lifting action!
