&#038; Jon&#8217;s Engagement Portraits at Central Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Amy &amp; Jon had attended a wedding I shot last summer&#8211; Anne and Bret for those of you keeping track&#8211; and they got in touch about having me shoot their wedding this fall.\u00a0 I&#8217;m so glad they did&#8211; these two were a delight to work with.\u00a0 Jon is hilarious and Amy is just a doll to shoot.\u00a0 And.\u00a0 Astonishingly&#8230;\u00a0 they brought a full picnic to the park, complete with my favorite cheese in the world (Manchego, hint hint), a fresh bagette, sparking cider, grapes, and fancy CUPCAKES! \u00a0 They even brought one for me, so thoughtful!\u00a0 Normally I don&#8217;t bother asking people to think of or bring any props for e&#8217;shoots&#8230; why?\u00a0 Well, because generally we&#8217;re walking around and any given prop is not going to be shot for more than one or two locations (the balloons aren&#8217;t engaged, YOU are) and then you&#8217;ve got to either trash it or stash it in what is usually an already cumbersome consolidated bag of both your necessary-to-carry-when-out belongings which we&#8217;re picking up and putting down each time I say &#8220;ooh over there!&#8221;\u00a0 But unbeknownst to me Amy and Jon had this whole picnic AND the blanket it was laid out on in one little bag somehow, plates, wine glasses and all&#8211; it was such fun twist in the shoot and we found the perfect location for them to lay out their spread.\u00a0 If you scroll down to the end you&#8217;ll see some picnic favorites (note Jon and Amy are excellent at catching grapes with their mouths) in addition to the other fun shots we got on that beautiful day. \u00a0 Look for pics from their wedding come fall &#8217;11!<\/p>\n<p><img
