Alina & Sasha’s Wedding at Hardings

Alina & Sascha are partners in their personal life and also their business. They share so much and have such strong alignment in terms of their sensibilities I knew that this intimate wedding with close friends and family would express who they are to a T, and right I was! I arrived at the Gramercy Park Hotel to find Alina getting her hair and makeup done and WOW did she look incredible– just like a hollywood starlet from golden age of film. In the other side of their suite, Sascha shared some getting ready time with his son and headed outside for their first look. After the excitement of being reunited I took them inside to take some photos of them with the atmosphere of the incredible hotel lounge and lobby, and then we took a walk by the famous Gramercy Park for some shots outdoors on our way to their venue down the street- Harding’s. Family all gathered there just as we arrived and we captured the group pictures there in the bar before Alina wanted to be out of sight for when guests would arrive. After a private marriage license signing, the formal ceremony got underway, with Sascha’s brother at the helm, and readings from several friends, as well as Sascha’s young daughter, who did a fantastic job! The rest of the evening unfolded with a delicious buffet dinner, much joyful dancing, incredible toasts from the parents of both bride and groom, and guests were treated to incredible treats from the Donut Plant instead of a traditional wedding cake! To top things off, Alina surprised and delighted all by changing into a bridal jumper at the end of the night! I couldn’t have been more honored to be there capturing all the memories. Congratulations to Alina & Sascha!
