Business Headshot for Michael Day Studio, NYC Florist

A few weeks ago I shot a special tasting and networking event down at PowerHouse Arena in DUMBO– which is a big awesome bookstore slash event space where I’ll actually be shooting Cheryl & Brian’s July 9th wedding!  Anyhow, since I’m currently a preferred photographer for The Housing Works Bookstore and The Works Catering was doing this event to show off their food– well, I got asked to come down and put out my portfolio and shoot the event!   I got to meet some cool wedding coordinators, designers, some engaged couples, and of course Michael– an amazing florist who had donated some flowers for the event. Let me just say I think I have  pretty good intuition about people and I liked Michael right away– when I got home and checked out his website for Michael Day Studio I was loving the flowers he puts together. I really hope I get to shoot one of his events sometime soon as he’s doing some excellent work out there… and what photographer doesn’t like shooting pretty flowers?!   There was just one thing missing from his website though– a picture of Michael– which I think is always nice to have actually, and could be especially beneficial to him as a fun, charismatic, and friendly-looking guy!  Today we met up for a quick mini-shoot in Madison Square Park and I turned the files around for him asap.  He loved this one below– hope to work with you soon, Michael!
