Carissa & Daniel’s intimate fall wedding at Housing Works Bookstore

Carissa & Daniel were planning an intimate wedding in the ever-charming Housing Works Bookstore Cafe down in Soho for a Saturday in November. The sun goes down early this time of year so we planned to meet at Central Park for some portraits of the couple alone before making our way downtown where they would check into their room at The James Hotel for a quick bit of downtime before arriving at the venue before the ceremony.  It was cold and windy at the park but Carissa and Daniel’s love seemed to keep them warm and in great spirits as we walked around getting lovely shots of them in some of the park’s most picturesque settings, complete with fall leaves!  After a warming car ride downtown I got one last portrait of them in the beautiful lobby of the hotel before heading over to Housing Works to capture some scene-setters before guests entered the space.  Carissa and Daniel signed a marriage license downstairs before getting married amidst close family and friends on the main level.  I was so touched by their ceremony– it’s clear these two are meant to be together!  Congratulations to Carissa & Daniel, it was an honor and a pleasure capturing this lovely wedding!
