Last week I got a call to shoot an education panel discussion put on by the Harvard Black Alumni Society of NYC and hosted by Scholastic, complete with a VIP cocktail party and speakers like Joel Klein, Chancellor of the NYC Public Schools, along with City Year CEO Michael Brown… It was quite an impressive event– to my surprise there were many students, parents, and teachers in attendance who were there perhaps to take the opportunity to ask questions of the panel. The Q&A alone could have gone on several more hours, one sensed. Congratulations to Enoch Woodhouse, who organized this incredible event. Check out some of my favorite shots from this lively evening of passionate discussion.

The photos just makes me smile. Lillian you are so beautiful. I am so happy for the two of you. Your families blend together naturally because it was all truly meant to be. And the happiness within you two glows outwardly. This marrage is a blessing. Congratulations and keep smiling!
