Lindsay and Ben: Engagement Portraits

I had the pleasure of shooting an amazing round of engagement portraits with Lindsay and Ben on Sunday. They wanted to include the Manhattan Bridge and some shots with the Brooklyn Bridge in the background, so we did some walking on and under this blue beauty and down some cute cobblestone streets and through a park by the shore on our way to the Brooklyn Bridge view. These two are so cute together, it’s really touching. They are always being silly and making eachother laugh, and their energy comes across beautifully in the pictures I think… here are a few of my initial favorites.  Can’t wait for their wedding in June!

Congrats Ben!!!! These pictures are great.

Baby Lucy's first portraits!

Tim and Kathy brought their new baby Lucy into the studio today and oh my gosh is she tiny! It was great to finally meet her– I was hoping to shoot their home birth but I was already going to Becky and Jon’s labor when they called me and dibs are dibs… Lucy is lighter than my camera. I could have held that baby all day long… she was smiling up a storm when I was holding her before the shoot but of course once I got the shoot going it was all but impossible to catch any grinning… oh well, she’s super young, next time! Take a look at this little cutie and her very happy parents!150babylucy_timkathy

Flora of Wave Hill

Last weekend Keith and I went up to Wave Hill in Riverdale to celebrate a friend’s birthday and enjoy the first real weekend of summer (you wouldn’t know it from today’s weather, but it was definately summer last weekend!) We really enjoyed strolling around the gardens, and though not everything was in full bloom I enjoyed shooting images of the flora we saw. img_4518-3
